In 2022, 87% of forest fires were caused by humans.

As a brand based on enjoying and protecting the outdoors for future generations to enjoy, we feel it’s important to start this conversation now, with all of you, so we can all do our part to prevent wildfires and preserve the areas we cherish most.

Since 1944, Smokey Bear has promoted a message of preventing unwanted human-caused wildfires. Wildfires don’t just simply burn trees, they endanger the fish in streams, rivers, and lakes along with the many wildflowers and plants that make up any given wilderness area. Wildfires impact many aspects of the ecosystem… giving us even more reason to always practice fire safety when we’re outdoors.

When you purchase this officially licensed Smokey Bear x Noso patch, a portion of the proceeds go directly to the United States Forest Service to help fund nationwide wildfire prevention efforts.
